But first, let’s Regulate!
Regulation is an essential life skill for us all to learn. Having regulation strategies in our personal toolkits can help build our resilience and ability to cope with difficult situations we may experience as well ensuring we can regulate our emotions and senses as needed. Sensory input can be regulating for us all and, as with most things in life, we all have our own personal preferences. Maple Class have been exploring some of their sensory preferences as part of their ‘All About Me’ body of work this September. Avril and Carol then took these and created a sensory wall outside of Maple class so that pupils (and staff) passing by could explore some of the activities too, discovering some of their own sensory preferences. What an amazing idea! Well done Maple Class!
